This was undoubtedly the movie of the year. Ranbir and Priyanka’s simple yet amazing act makes you speechless. After seeing this movie, you would question if true love has any material substitutes. It’s the story of a hearing and speech impaired character, Barfi (originally named Murphy by his parents) who lives his everyday life to the hilt and how. Barfi chances upon a Darjeeling girl Shruti, played by the famous south Indian actress Illeana D’cruz, who loses her heart to him, only to find herself married to another guy under family pressure. Enter an autistic Jhilmil Chatterjee (played by Priyanka Chopra), who belongs to an affluent family in Darjeeling but her family barely cares for her sensitive needs. Barfi and Jhilmil meet under exceptional circumstances when Barfi finds his father battling kidney failure. Barfi happens to kidnap Jhilmil for monetary aid required to treat his father, but gradually he and Jhilmil realise that they are perfect to share their life with each othe
