Welcome to the Jungle - Bhandavgarh

Image
Bandhavgarh was a luck-by-chance for us. We (Me and my wife) were casually browsing the various travel packages listed on the "Luxury Escapes" app that we had recently installed on our android device. The motivation was to find some place interesting for our 1st marriage anniversary.  This is where we came across a 5 star property of Bandhav Vilas at a jungle in Bandhavgarh. The place was totally new for us and so we started some travel research. The world wide web informed us that the place was located in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh and is one of the most sought after national parks in India by naturalists and tiger lovers. Although both of us are not really the die hard tiger loving type but the reviews of the Bandhav Vilas on tripadvisor had us mesmerised. Not a single bad review for a resort in the middle of the jungle. That is something...isn't it! M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story - Review

Image
Once in a while, you come across a movie that inspires you to do more, to want more and to work tirelessly to achieve your goal. M.S. Dhoni is one such movie that I watched last Saturday (one day after the release) and I loved it! The story was epic and given that It was a biopic of one of the greatest players in Indian cricket, it made the movie even more captivating to watch. However, if you really go after your goal with whatever strength you have, there is no force in the world that can stop you from achieving that goal. In extraordinary circumstances, even if you fail, you still have the learnings of your journey that would help you in the years to come. I salute the Indian skipper for having worked so hard to deserve such a title and would also like to congratulate Sushant Singh Rajput for his amazing acting and sheer show of talent that enabled the movie do justic...

It was March of 2016 when I began researching about the best honeymoon destinations to go by the end of April, 2016. My wedding was on the 18th of April and both Bhavya (My then fiance and now wife!) were super excited. Planning our honeymoon destination was on the top of our list. It took me several hours of googling and reviews from the good people on tripadvisor to choose Sikkim as our honeymoon destination. Now, after having been there for over a week, I am proud of making that decision. I shall try to make this post as informative as possible so that future honeymooners / tourists may benefit from it. We had taken the services of a travel agent from Kolkata and had asked him to plan an itinery for us covering Gangtok, Lachung and Pelling over a period of 6 days. The following is an account of the places we had been...
