Trichy...or more specifically NIT Trichy is one of those singular places of India where nothing seems to happen..esp. when the exams are round the corner! Reckless classes, Photocopying notes, Mugging incomprehensible data and getting minimal hours of sleep....is all what life has become here at this time. While this is the time of maximum boredom...what provides relief is the world wide web , online and non-online friends ;) and of course Avin, the NITT milk shop open till 12 at night and the only place to hang out and relax after finishing the most challenging task in college: Studying!!!

GPA, Grade and Percentage Calculator for IGNOU MBA (MP) Programme

I searched a lot online for an authentic way to calculate GPA / Percentage for IGNOU MBA Programme but I was forced to read a whole lot of trash and now that I have finally understood it, I will be sharing it with you guys so you know exactly where you stand as IGNOU only mention Grade in Marksheet. The Grading system in IGNOU MBA is given below: Letter Grade Percentage Equivalent Qualitative Level A 80% and above Excellent B 60% to 79.9% Very Good C 50% to 59.9% Good D 40% to 49.9% Satisfactory E Below 40% Un-satisfactory Each course is given a Grade of maximum 5. MBA from IGNOU...My experiences so far!

Last year, after a lot of deliberations, I decided to do a distance MBA course (along-side office schedule). After a lot of research, I found that distance MBA from IGNOU is one of the safest options out there as several such colleges offer distance courses whose degrees are not even accredited. IGNOU, as you all must be aware of, is established by an Act of the Parliament and is genuine.  I cleared the OPENMAT entrance examination (for entrance into the MBA Programme, not required for PG Diploma courses) and enrolled into the "MP" or Management Programme. The special features of this programme are its low fees (its dirt cheap), wide acceptability and modular course (6 courses yield you a diploma, 11 courses yield a PG Diploma and all 21 courses of course yield the MBA degree).
