A Day out with friends and 'Rajneeti'!

Yesterday was a Sunday and it really transformed into a full fledged Funday! Some of the old school friends decided to watch the newly released movie Rajneeti at the IP mall and it so turned out that we reached the mall an hour early. So we killed our time the ususal way, the 'we' including me, Somojit, Prashant (a.k.a Basanti) and Rishabh. The movie was good, by far the best movie of the year after 3 idiots... After the show, Kritshekhar arrived and we revised all past memories of JRS with him. It was kinda fun...After having some drinks we returnrd as it had got late.
Got up today at the usual 11 a.m. and reached the dept. by 11:30. Seems pretty much like college you know, I mean getting up at 8 and then be present in the class by 8:30! Right now I am sitting in the Systems Lab and doing what I do the best : Surfing the web and wasting time!!!

GPA, Grade and Percentage Calculator for IGNOU MBA (MP) Programme

I searched a lot online for an authentic way to calculate GPA / Percentage for IGNOU MBA Programme but I was forced to read a whole lot of trash and now that I have finally understood it, I will be sharing it with you guys so you know exactly where you stand as IGNOU only mention Grade in Marksheet. The Grading system in IGNOU MBA is given below: Letter Grade Percentage Equivalent Qualitative Level A 80% and above Excellent B 60% to 79.9% Very Good C 50% to 59.9% Good D 40% to 49.9% Satisfactory E Below 40% Un-satisfactory Each course is given a Grade of maximum 5. MBA from IGNOU...My experiences so far!

Last year, after a lot of deliberations, I decided to do a distance MBA course (along-side office schedule). After a lot of research, I found that distance MBA from IGNOU is one of the safest options out there as several such colleges offer distance courses whose degrees are not even accredited. IGNOU, as you all must be aware of, is established by an Act of the Parliament and is genuine.  I cleared the OPENMAT entrance examination (for entrance into the MBA Programme, not required for PG Diploma courses) and enrolled into the "MP" or Management Programme. The special features of this programme are its low fees (its dirt cheap), wide acceptability and modular course (6 courses yield you a diploma, 11 courses yield a PG Diploma and all 21 courses of course yield the MBA degree).
