2018 was an incredible year. It was the year of the Bitcoin, of the Triple Talaq bill, of the #MeToo movement and so many other things. But what was in it for ME! Let me recollect. I watched the following awesome (and some not so awesome) movies in 2018: Aquaman Fantastic Beasts: The crimes of Grindelwald Andhadun Stree Gold Mission Impossible: Fallout Raazi Avengers: Infinity War A Quiet Place Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety Padmavat Further, it was the year when I finally went to South India vacation with Bhavya...something I had planned to do since college days. The Ooty, Kodai, Munnar trip turned out to be one of the best! It was also the year when I decided to pursue a distance MBA. In 2018, the 7th pay commission got implemented causing good (if not significant) revision in the paycheck. This year also saw Mohit (college buddy) getting hitched. This 22nd December happens to be the last day of 2018 on which me and Bhavya would be together, now that she is leaving for our hometown tonight. It was me who coaxed her into going to Varanasi to spend some quality time with her family fully aware of the fact that I have gotten so used to be around her that her absense would pinch me in this last week of 2018.  Well, now she is all packed up, courtesy ME…! Oh yes, she is a bad at packing stuff in the suitcase. She is carrying with her goodies for all the family members back home and also leaving me with a big jar of carot beetroot pudding (halwa) which is my favourite. I am going to miss her for the 10 days she is not going to be around . But yes, I have an exam round the corner too..on the 31st December ...can you believe it! So that would keep me busy. It is going to be a busy week ahead...with all the cooking, studying and various office meetings. Hope to see you real soon! Let's see how Happy this new year actually turns o

It was our first international holiday and we did not want to take any chances. After a thorough review of various holiday packages on Make my trip (our go to travel app), we booked a package for 5 Nights in Thailand - 3N in Pattaya & 2N in Bangkok. The trip was to start from 7th August (2017) and we were all geared up for it. Shopping - check, garms - check, Visa docs - check, MMT vouchers - check, Thai Bhat (currency) conversion - check and so on.
